Senior Project Manager - Development

About the role

Arada is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale mixed‑use development projects across the UAE. You will coordinate design, procurement, construction and handover phases, ensuring alignment with strategic, quality and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver assigned development projects through all phases, from design to defects liability.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, cost targets and construction feasibility.
• Oversee contractors, consultants and project management consultants, monitoring progress, quality, health & safety and compliance.
• Manage commercial aspects including budgets, variation orders, claims and contract administration.
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, securing approvals and permits.
• Identify risks, ensure governance compliance and prepare executive reports for senior management.
• Mentor junior project managers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; master’s or professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, CIOB) are a plus.
• 10‑15 years of real‑estate development or project management experience, with at least 5 years managing large‑scale mixed‑use projects in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE development lifecycle, authority approvals, procurement, construction and handover processes.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management abilities.
