Senior Project Manager - Industrial AI

About the role

Cognite builds AI and data solutions for industrial digitalization. It is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead complex Industrial AI implementation projects, from contract signing through deployment and value realisation. You will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects that create lasting business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from kickoff through deployment, adoption and value realisation.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, customer outcomes and commercial performance.
• Work with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product teams and Customer Success.
• Turn customer objectives into measurable success metrics and run Value Realisation Workshops.
• Manage project financials: forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, cost management and reporting.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders, lead steering committees and communicate clearly.
• Manage risks, dependencies and scope changes with appropriate governance.
• Support customer adoption through change management, enablement and training.
• Apply Cognite's PMO methodologies, playbooks and lessons learned to improve delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud or enterprise technology implementation projects.
• Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in one or more industrial sectors such as Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables or Life Sciences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Required skills

• Agile delivery and project governance such as Scrum, PMP or PRINCE2.
• Project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum certification; Azure or AWS; Industrial IoT, SCADA, MES or OT; AI, machine learning, data engineering or analytics projects.
