Senior Project Manager – Onshore Gas Storage

About the role

Worley is a global energy, chemicals and resources consultancy delivering end‑to‑end project solutions. The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of a major onshore gas storage project from concept through detailed engineering and EPC support, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of large‑scale onshore gas storage projects, developing and implementing Project Execution Plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across FEED and detailed design phases.
• Monitor project performance, schedule, budget, quality, HSE and risk metrics.
• Serve as the single point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and leading progress meetings.
• Coordinate interfaces with licensors, EPC contractors, vendors and third‑party consultants.
• Oversee engineering deliverables for gas storage facilities, compression systems, gas processing facilities, pipeline interfaces, utilities, offsites and storage terminals.

Required profile

• Minimum 240 months (20 years) of relevant experience in onshore gas storage or similar large‑scale energy projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP certification preferred.
