Senior Project Manager – Pre‑Contract Design

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the pre‑contract design phase of infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will coordinate stakeholders, translate client requirements into design strategies, and ensure projects stay within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all pre‑contract design activities, including scope definition, feasibility studies and design coordination.
• Analyze design proposals and technical documentation for compliance with project requirements, local regulations and industry standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets and schedules, identifying risks and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and vendors to resolve technical conflicts and align design objectives.
• Prepare and review contract documents, specifications and tender packages with precision.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of project management experience in construction, real estate or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a built‑environment discipline; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing design projects in the UAE or Middle‑East market.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations and approval processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera.
• Advanced understanding of design processes, cost estimation and value‑engineering techniques.
