Senior Project Manager – Sharjah Development

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end execution of development projects in Sharjah, overseeing design, procurement, construction, handover and close‑out while ensuring alignment with Arada’s strategic, quality and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of assigned development projects across all phases.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate design management to meet project objectives, regulatory requirements and cost targets.
• Oversee contractors and consultants, monitor construction progress, quality, HSE and ensure practical completion and handover.
• Manage commercial aspects including budgets, variation orders, claims and contract administration.
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, securing approvals and building strong relationships.
• Identify project risks, ensure governance compliance and prepare executive reports for senior management.
• Mentor junior project managers and drive continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; Master’s or professional certifications (PMP, RICS, CIOB, PRINCE2) advantageous.
• 10–15 years of real‑estate development or project management experience, with at least 5 years managing large‑scale mixed‑use projects in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE development lifecycle, authority approvals, procurement and handover processes.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2) and construction practices.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel and project reporting tools.
• Strong commercial and financial management capabilities.
