Senior Project Manager – Development Projects

About the role

Arada is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale mixed‑use development projects in Sharjah, from design through procurement, construction, handover and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver assigned development projects, managing design, authority approvals, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and defects liability.
• Develop detailed execution plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers; track performance against milestones and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, cost targets and construction feasibility.
• Oversee contractors and consultants, monitor progress, quality, HSE compliance and ensure practical completion.
• Manage commercial aspects including budgets, variation orders, claims and contract administration.
• Act as primary liaison for internal stakeholders, government authorities and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; Master’s or professional certifications (PMP, RICS, CIOB, PRINCE2) advantageous.
• 10–15 years of real‑estate development or project management experience, with at least 5 years managing large‑scale mixed‑use projects in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE development lifecycle, authority approvals and handover processes.
