Senior Python Developer – Banking Domain

About the role

A Senior Python Developer position is open in Dubai, working from the office. The role requires banking domain experience and an immediate or serving notice period; only candidates with a notice period of up to 10 days are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web frameworks in Python, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build backend systems that serve datasets through APIs, implementing data access layers and optimising code for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Secure APIs using OAuth, JWT and API gateways, covering authentication, authorisation and encryption.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Required profile

• Senior Python developer with mandatory banking domain experience.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Experience producing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Immediate to 10-day notice period only.

Required skills

• Python, including Flask and FastAPI for RESTful APIs and asyncio for asynchronous programming.
• Web frameworks such as Django, Flask or Pyramid, with routing, templating, database integration, authentication and testing.
• ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM for CRUD operations and transactions.
• Security practices for microservices and API security.
• Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data warehousing.
• Scripting in SQL and Shell, and Git.
