Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – AS9100 & Nadcap will lead the planning, development, execution and continual improvement of HALCON's Aerospace Quality Management System. This role ensures full compliance with aerospace standards, customer requirements and regulatory obligations while driving cross‑functional implementation and certification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, certification, maintenance and improvement of the AS9100 QMS, ensuring compliance with AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Conduct gap assessments, define roadmaps, and maintain quality manuals, procedures and controlled documentation.
• Lead Nadcap accreditation projects, interpret checklists, manage process controls and close audit findings.
• Plan and conduct internal, supplier, customer, certification and Nadcap audits; drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support quality digitalisation through SAP QM and related systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Quality Assurance experience in aerospace, defence or high‑precision manufacturing.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification and at least 5 years of hands‑on AS9100 QMS implementation.
• Proven experience leading Nadcap accreditation for aerospace special processes.
