Senior Quality & Compliance Specialist

About the role

FedEx is seeking a senior quality and compliance professional to lead enterprise quality management across Sub‑Saharan Africa, India and the UAE. You will act as the regional subject‑matter expert, aligning local operational standards with global quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, refine and enforce quality methods and standards for complex logistics and freight operations.
• Own and modernise the Enterprise Quality Management System (eQMS) and maintain strict document‑control frameworks.
• Lead internal and external audit programmes, ensuring ISO 9001 certification and audit readiness.
• Manage the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) process, conducting root‑cause analyses and driving continuous improvement.
• Validate regional vendors and suppliers to ensure alignment with FedEx global standards.
• Support leadership with business‑control analysis, risk oversight and mitigation.
• Integrate quality engineering principles into PMO planning and program/project management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior‑level experience in quality, compliance or governance within express, freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven track record of ISO 9001 compliance, audit management and CAPA ownership.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business controls into actionable risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across multiple regions.
