Senior Quantity Surveyor - Landscape

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost and contractual aspects of landscape projects, from inception to completion. The role covers cost estimates, BOQs, valuations and variation orders, budget monitoring, and supports commercial decisions that optimise cost, profitability and financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates and tender documents for landscape projects.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
• Manage interim valuations, payment applications and certification.
• Evaluate and prepare variation orders, claims and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and provide regular cost reports and forecasts.
• Support procurement by comparing costs and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and site teams on commercial and contractual issues.
• Assist in contract administration, including review of contract documents and risk identification.
• Monitor subcontractor payments and final accounts.
• Take part in negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors on cost matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all commercial and contractual activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 7+ years of drafting experience; infrastructure or landscape project exposure preferred.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and CostX are mandatory.
• Civil 3D and Revit are helpful.
• Strong drawing control discipline.
