Senior Quantity Surveyor - Pre Contract Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead pre‑contract activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for accurate cost tracking, commercial management and supporting the delivery of high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead measurement, cost control and contract administration throughout the pre‑contract phase.
• Prepare major variation claims, cost impact assessments and commercial reports.
• Review and approve Bills of Quantities, quantity breakdowns and valuations.
• Conduct risk analysis for potential cost overruns and propose mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior QS staff and coordinate with finance, planning and engineering teams.
• Participate in client and contractor negotiations and project review meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• 10–15 years of QS experience, including at least 5 years in senior roles.
• Strong commercial expertise and thorough knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Advanced ability in measurement, cost forecasting and claim preparation.
