Senior R&D Engineer – CURE Chemicals Specialist

About the role

Gradiant is seeking a senior R&D engineer to lead the development and optimization of its CURE chemicals portfolio. The role focuses on delivering advanced chemical treatment solutions for refineries, upstream oil & gas, petrochemical plants, and industrial water and wastewater applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and commercialize specialty chemical formulations.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans for chemical treatment programs.
• Establish and manage laboratory testing capabilities to validate process applications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards throughout R&D activities.
• Present technical findings to stakeholders and integrate results into operational practices.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in refinery, upstream oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial wastewater treatment chemicals.
• Proven track record in product commercialization and customer‑facing technical leadership.
• Ability to bridge research, operations, sales, and customer requirements.
