Senior Real Estate Audit – Audit & Assurance

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a senior professional to lead audits of real‑estate development companies in the UAE. You will work within the Audit & Assurance practice, applying rigorous audit methodology to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial statement audits, internal‑control assessments and compliance reviews for real‑estate developers.
• Evaluate the accuracy of records related to land acquisition, construction costs, revenue recognition and asset valuation.
• Assess accounting policies such as cost capitalization, impairment testing and fair‑value measurement.
• Review contracts, joint ventures, lease agreements and other legal documents to identify audit risks.
• Identify material‑misstatement and fraud risks and design appropriate audit procedures.
• Analyse project budgets, cost tracking and cash‑flow management to verify financial integrity.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with several years of audit experience, preferably in real‑estate or construction.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements for real‑estate projects.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess complex financial transactions.
