Senior Registered Nurse – Day Ward

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to lead the Day Ward team at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering patient‑centred, evidence‑based care while ensuring operational efficiency and a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices are followed according to clinical standards.
• Develop staff and foster an engaging team environment to enhance patient experience.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to support safe patient care.
• Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards and drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institute.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or day surgery setting, preferably in a private hospital.
• At least two years of senior nursing experience.
• Fluent verbal and written English.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
