Senior Relationship Officer – Personal Loans

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Executive to join our Direct Sales CC & PL department. In this role you will promote and sell a range of personal banking products, primarily credit cards and personal loans, with the goal of achieving sales targets and driving the bank’s growth through new customer acquisition and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Direct Sales Manager.
• Promote and sell Personal Loan products within assigned markets and customer segments.
• Generate new business through cold calling, field visits, referrals and networking.
• Organise and participate in promotional activities, group meetings and roadshows to drive growth.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure timely follow‑up with prospects.
• Submit accurate MIS reports and competitor insights regularly.
• Identify and leverage cross‑sell opportunities across other banking products such as credit cards, insurance and accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Knowledge of personal loan products and lending policies.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven environment and manage a sales pipeline.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Office).
• Experience using CRM tools for sales and customer management.
