Senior Roller – Steel Industry Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Roller to join our steel industry operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves operating and maintaining heavy rollers on construction sites, ensuring high‑quality compaction of soil, gravel, concrete and asphalt while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain rollers to compact various construction materials on site.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any malfunctions or damages.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient roller operation.
• Coordinate with team members to execute tasks effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior rollers and other personnel.
• Comply with company policies and regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Roller Operator in a long‑product rolling mill.
• Diploma (any field) required; preferred diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of roll pass design.
• Proven experience in high‑speed block mill operation.
