Senior Sales Engineer - New Equipment

About the role

Otis Elevator Co. is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer in Sharjah to support its new equipment business. The role holder supports estimations, prepares contracts and negotiates contract scope changes, keeps competitive intelligence so Otis is seen as the preferred partner on bids, and works in line with the company's business policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the Manager – New Equipment to prepare contracts, negotiate and finalise agreements with clients.
• Prepare pre-qualification and technical documents for new equipment proposals.
• Prepare estimates and issue quotations based on project scope and Otis products.
• Negotiate new equipment contracts with clients, addressing potential client risks under renewal terms.
• Execute sales strategies to grow Otis' market share across product lines in the assigned markets.
• Build relationships with developers and contractors and coordinate with the Aftermarket and Service Department on agreement terms.
• Inspect newly delivered and installed equipment against contractual requirements.
• Assist the Finance Department with payment collection and maintain the new equipment contracts database in the MIS system, providing periodic reports.
• Prepare sales reports and pipeline forecasts, and comply with quality procedures and ISO policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's in Business Administration is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in elevator/escalator sales and marketing in the UAE.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are essential.
