Senior Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive specialized in freight forwarding to drive new business and expand our client base in the Dubai market. The successful candidate will leverage an established network and deep knowledge of import, export, air and sea freight services to achieve aggressive sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and acquire new customers across all freight forwarding services.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales in line with company margins.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, customer records, and regular sales reports.
• Conduct customer visits and business development activities throughout Dubai.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Currently based in Dubai with strong knowledge of the local market.
• Established network of shippers/customers in Dubai is highly preferred.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
• UAE/Dubai driving licence preferred and immediate or short‑notice availability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• In‑depth understanding of sea freight, air freight, import/export processes.
• Ability to manage relationships and develop new business opportunities.
