Senior SAP BTP & AI Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior SAP Technical Consultant to design, build and support extensions across SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Integration Suite. The role focuses on delivering secure, upgrade‑safe AI‑enabled capabilities from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP extensions following clean‑core principles.
• Develop ABAP solutions using RAP, CDS, ABAP Objects and OData services.
• Build and maintain BTP applications with CAP, HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry or Kyma.
• Create integrations via SAP Integration Suite/CPI, including mappings, scripting, APIs and adapters.
• Develop Fiori Elements, SAPUI5 apps, launchpad content and user‑facing extensions.
• Design workflows, business rules, forms, reports and analytical views.
• Extend SuccessFactors and create custom MDF solutions.
• Implement AI agent interfaces, retrieval, grounding, vector search and model integration while applying security controls (OAuth2, least‑privilege, audit logging).
• Ensure monitoring, error handling, testing, documentation and support runbooks.
• Support S/4HANA 2025 upgrade, custom‑code remediation and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, integration, security and AI teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP technical development experience.
• Strong ABAP expertise on S/4HANA, RAP, CDS and OData.
• Proven experience with SAP BTP and Integration Suite/CPI.
• Hands‑on AI engineering experience, including LLM integration and tool/function calling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
