Senior Site Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Architect to lead the supervision and quality control of finishing works on high‑rise projects from the finishes stage through to handover. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all construction activities meet design intent, contractual specifications and local authority regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction of finishing works (blockwork, plaster, cladding, joinery, aluminium, etc.) from finishes stage to completion.
• Attend and support site meetings, coordinate main and sub‑contractors, and ensure timely information flow.
• Conduct weekly site visits, issue observation reports and non‑conformance reports (NCR) to contractors.
• Monitor on‑site quality, perform defect snagging inspections, and review IFC drawings before release.
• Manage project submittals across all disciplines, track distribution, and ensure release within contractual periods.
• Register site changes, assess cost and time implications, and communicate concerns.
• Maintain compliance with local authority approvals and applicable codes.
• Review and modify CAD/IFC drawings, renderings, layouts and construction documents as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to architectural staff and coordinate with engineering, interior design, landscape, structural, mechanical and electrical teams.
• Develop and distribute action lists, proactively resolve issues, and track project progress.

Required profile

• Highly committed, responsible and creative professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and supervise construction from finishes stage to handover.
• Background in supervision consultancy for super‑high‑rise buildings.
• Experience reviewing material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and coordinating trades.
• Familiarity with authority requirements and approvals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
