Senior Site Engineer – Boutique Hotel Project

About the role

Utopia is seeking a capable and hands‑on Senior Site Engineer to lead the construction of a high‑end boutique hotel in Dubai. The role bridges remote design teams with on‑site execution, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance. Relocation to Dubai is required for the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, proactively addressing safety and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Head of Construction to execute the construction plan, manage schedules, allocate resources, and oversee material procurement.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, reflecting the detailed craftsmanship defined in the design.
• Monitor construction expenses at site level, identifying cost‑effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors, skilled labour, and on‑site teams to maintain steady workflow and foster a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience across construction site functions (e.g., Inspector, Project Engineer, Site Supervisor).
• Completed at least two full‑cycle projects in Dubai, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven track record in high‑end hospitality or residential construction.
• Ability to provide clear examples of resolving technical or logistical challenges on past projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
