Senior Site Engineer – Vertical MEP

About the role

Senior Site Engineer – Vertical MEP is a senior technical authority within the building services project team, responsible for delivering vertical transportation systems and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent site inspections to verify compliance with health, safety and project specifications.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals and BIM clash detection reports.
• Prepare and manage NCRs, SORs, snag lists and RFIs.
• Assess test procedures and results against industry codes of practice.
• Liaise with contractors and commissioning teams, monitor installations and submittals.
• Participate in coordination meetings, mentor colleagues and track project milestones.

Required profile

• BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent MEP/Building Services Engineering degree.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in vertical transportation systems.
• CSA Grade 5 qualification (desirable).
• Certified Commissioning Authority (BCA, ACG or NEBB) – desirable.
