Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our banking client in the UAE. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing secure, scalable applications that meet the bank’s technology and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for banking systems.
• Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and micro‑services.
• Work with databases and external systems to ensure efficient data processing.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support production applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and other development teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of software development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
