Senior Solution Architect – Demand Supply Merchandise Planning Retail

About the role

Senior Solution Architect acts as a member of on‑site or remote project teams, using deep knowledge of customer business and processes to design and implement Blue Yonder solutions for medium to large supply‑chain transformation programmes. The role focuses on demand‑supply merchandise planning within the retail sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution design and implementation of Blue Yonder products.
• Collaborate with customer business and IT teams throughout all project phases.
• Provide functional and industry expertise in meetings with project managers and key customer contacts.
• Mentor junior associates and work closely with product management on future enhancements.
• Assist pre‑sales teams in workload assessment and role recommendation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply‑chain or retail industries (softline, grocery, FMCG, etc.).
• Strong understanding of planning, demand management, replenishment, category and assortment optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• Business‑level fluency in English and right to live and work in the European Union.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with modern supply‑chain applications such as Blue Yonder, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Infor, Logility, o9, Quintiq or similar.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning and data‑science concepts.
• Agile methodology knowledge.
• Elementary Python and SQL programming skills.
