Senior Solutions Designer – Transport Europe & MEA

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Designer you will lead the design of innovative and commercially competitive transport and network solutions for high‑complexity customer opportunities across Europe and the Middle East & Africa. You will work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable supply‑chain designs that balance operational excellence, financial performance and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution‑design workstreams to secure new business and renew existing contracts.
• Design complex transport networks and operating models using simulation, modelling and routing‑optimization tools.
• Develop costing models, pricing strategies and commercial recommendations to ensure profitable solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business Development and Finance to implement awarded projects and achieve customer success.
• Present and defend solution concepts, business cases and proposals to internal and customer audiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transport or supply‑chain solution design, managing complex network optimisation projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with a consultative mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

Required skills

• Experience with transport modelling and simulation tools such as Supply Chain Guru X, Paragon, Ortec, Log‑hub or AnyLogic.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.
