Senior Specialist Cloud Application Engineer

About the role

The Senior Specialist Cloud Application Engineer will design, build and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications and integrations within IHS Towers’ digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, EA, the role focuses on full‑stack development using React and .NET Core, and on delivering cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive front‑end applications with React and robust back‑end APIs using .NET Core.
• Create and manage relational schemas in SQL Azure and NoSQL collections in Azure Cosmos DB.
• Design and implement system integrations via REST APIs, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
• Deploy, configure and operate services on Azure App Services, Functions, Container Apps and related PaaS components.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues and apply security best practices across the stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience developing with React and .NET Core.
• Proven experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure, including SQL Azure and Cosmos DB.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Preferred Azure certification such as AZ‑204 or AZ‑900.
