Senior Specialist, Project Planning

About the role

Provide technical support for project planning and scheduling across ADNOC and its group companies, defining methodologies, processes and tools, and ensuring adherence to ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Group’s overall project planning program, monitor alignment with targets, report deviations and risks to the Head of Project Planning.
• Define and disseminate group‑specific planning policies, procedures, methodologies and tools in line with ADNOC guidelines.
• Provide technical expertise in scheduling, ensure accurate and transparent reporting, and highlight critical issues for management.
• Support project managers in project control, risk register updates, change management and preparation of periodic performance reports.
• Drive initiatives to improve the capital delivery programme and develop project planning competency across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Project Management.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in NOC/IOC or EPC(M) environments, including 4 years in a technical discipline authority role.
• Proven major project management or engineering experience and strong knowledge of PMC frameworks.
