Senior Stores Supervisor

About the role

EDGE, a defence and emerging technologies group headquartered in the UAE, is hiring a Senior Stores Supervisor in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee daily warehouse and stores operations, ensuring the safe receipt, storage and distribution of materials, including hazardous goods, and work closely with the Supply Chain and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily stores operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and issuance of materials.
• Lead and support store personnel while monitoring productivity and operational performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control, ERP transactions and regular cycle counts.
• Coordinate material movements and support operational and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and regulatory requirements for hazardous materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and service levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in warehouse or stores operations.
• Experience supervising warehouse or stores personnel.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• English proficiency required; unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies are not accepted.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: warehouse or logistics certification, experience in manufacturing, defence or industrial environments, forklift certification and experience handling hazardous materials.
