Senior Supervisor E&I - Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

Penspen is urgently hiring a Senior Supervisor E&I for an offshore project management contractor (PMC) project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads and supervises all electrical and instrumentation maintenance on offshore oil and gas facilities such as production platforms, FPSOs, offshore processing facilities and drilling units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians, supervisors and contractors.
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Review, prioritize and approve maintenance work orders and monitor maintenance KPIs and equipment performance.
• Take part in offshore shutdown planning and execution, develop work scopes and resource requirements, and coordinate vendors and specialist contractors.
• Ensure compliance with offshore HSE policies, enforce Permit to Work (PTW) requirements, conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments, and verify electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Support reliability improvement initiatives, investigate equipment failures and perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
• Implement predictive maintenance strategies and lead and mentor E&I maintenance personnel, including competency assessments, performance reviews and training plans.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore projects.
• Proven experience managing shutdowns and major maintenance campaigns.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and process control systems.
• Preferred: PMC/EPC background and previous ADNOC offshore experience.
