Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will support workforce planning and talent acquisition for a government entity in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures alignment with HR Authority policies, drives recruitment strategy, and contributes to the department’s operational and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit workforce and financial reports in compliance with HR Authority, Finance Department, and senior management directives.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audits, providing required documentation and clarifications.
• Assist the Head of Department in preparing and managing the annual workforce budget.
• Use recruitment metrics and workforce analytics to monitor performance and improve hiring effectiveness.
• Develop and update job descriptions in partnership with business units and managers.
• Participate in the design and execution of the department’s recruitment and workforce planning strategy.
• Maintain professional relationships with recruitment partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure recruitment activities follow approved plans, policies, and best‑practice methodologies.
• Coordinate candidate interviews, assessments, onboarding, and preparation of employment offers and contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition and workforce planning, preferably within a public‑sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, recruitment regulations, and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
