About the role
Synergi MENA is recruiting on behalf of a multinational pharmaceutical company for a Senior Accounting & Tax Analyst. The role supports tax compliance and regional finance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage UAE corporate tax and VAT provisioning and filings alongside external tax consultants.
- Review tax compliance and risks across MENA markets.
- Manage accounts payable, banking, general ledger and month-end close.
- Support financial reporting, audits, internal controls and systems improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Taxation.
- 5+ years' experience across corporate tax, VAT and financial accounting.
- Ideally, experience working within a multinational organisation.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience preparing and filing tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and GCC tax regulations.
- Solid accounting, month-end close and reporting experience.
- Preferred: professional accounting or tax qualifications, regional experience and SAP knowledge.
