Senior Technical Account Manager, Microsegmentation

About the role

Join Akamai's Enterprise Security Group as a Senior Technical Account Manager focused on micro‑segmentation, ZTNA and DNS Firewall solutions. You will act as the trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, helping them maximise the value of the Guardicore platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated technical guidance on platform configuration and use‑case strategy.
• Collect and triage technical challenges, coordinating with Guardicore services and support for rapid resolution.
• Develop a comprehensive success plan based on the customer’s environment, processes and deployment characteristics.
• Serve as the internal champion for the customer, liaising with product, support and services teams.
• Maintain operational excellence by tracking KPIs such as Net and Gross Retention, NPS and overall customer health.
• Work remotely with customers in the META region, travelling on‑site when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise networking, cybersecurity or DevOps in a customer‑facing capacity.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls and core cybersecurity principles.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting and deployment experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to build solutions using basic scripting and APIs (Python, REST).
• Demonstrated success building relationships across all organisational levels, from CISO to engineers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for learning new technologies.
