Senior Technical Communications Architect

About the role

AHOY Playbooks supports the AHOY ecosystem through strategic decks and proposals used by pre‑sales, sales, commercial, tech and product teams. We are looking for a capable individual to lead the content strategy for these information systems, refining blueprints and documentation frameworks to explain complex solutions to developers and business leaders alike.

Key responsibilities

• Bridge gaps by translating complex technical concepts into clear business language for non‑technical leaders and turning business goals into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Create high‑level architectural blueprints for enterprise systems, cloud integration or data networks.
• Assist with technical governance and maintain an evolving library of assets for pre‑sales, sales, technical, R&D, product and commercial teams.
• Mentor and guide the AHOY Playbooks team while building strong relationships with all collaborating teams.
• Produce concise strategic decks and proposals that convey knowledge efficiently.
• Act as a strategic advisor, bridging business needs and technical execution and guiding stakeholders on technology roadmaps.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in technology and system development.
• Hybrid work model based in the UAE with a minimum of two in‑person meetings per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic or French a plus.
• Ability to craft a compelling technical story within a concise 10‑slide deck.
• Rapid learning of new technologies, excellent presentation and facilitation skills, and solid time‑management.
• Proactive in anticipating needs and closing knowledge gaps for pre‑sales, sales, tech, R&D, product and commercial teams.
