Senior Technical Engineer Workplace Services AV Engineer

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead Workplace Services AV initiatives. You will design, develop and deliver high‑quality AV and digital workplace solutions that meet business needs while adhering to corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy and act as the lead technical member on AV project work packages.
• Develop robust IT solutions, ensuring designs meet availability, capacity, security and performance requirements.
• Create solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards and support technology advancements.
• Foster high‑performing technical teams to achieve strategic architectural objectives.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement monitoring and ensure incidents are managed within service levels.
• Guide project managers and technology leads on solution definition, design and delivery.
• Own change management, documentation and end‑of‑life equipment/software replacement.
• Ensure code quality and compliance with enterprise development tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of IT experience, including senior stakeholder management.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Teams Room Systems and AVIXA‑compliant video walls and meeting‑room technologies.
• Expertise in AVoIP projects, digital signage deployments and content‑management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, cloud/on‑prem environments, subnetting and security principles.
• Track record of large‑scale technology implementations and high attention to detail.
