Senior Technical Instructor, Training & Enablement

About the role

Dragos, a global xOT cybersecurity company protecting critical infrastructure such as water, energy and hospital systems, is hiring a Senior Technical Instructor, Training & Enablement. Based in APAC, you will be the primary training presence for the region, delivering hands-on, technical training to security and operations teams at customer organizations. The work is primarily classroom and lab-based, with travel to customer sites and virtual sessions, and involves curriculum design as well as delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training to security teams, OT engineers and operations personnel at customer sites.
• Run lab-intensive courses on the Dragos Platform, OT/ICS network visibility, asset identification, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Teach experienced audiences (engineers, SOC analysts, plant operators) and adapt delivery to their background.
• Manage hands-on labs, troubleshoot technical issues and keep sessions on track.
• Coordinate with account and customer success teams before on-site engagements and partner with product teams on platform updates.
• Work with the threat intelligence team to bring current OT/ICS threats into instruction.
• Contribute to curriculum design: develop new courses, update content and turn learner feedback into improvements.
• Represent Dragos professionally in customer environments and support post-training questions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in OT/ICS security, operational technology engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to train experienced professionals such as engineers and security analysts.
• Experience contributing to curriculum design and course development, not just delivery.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities without close oversight.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, including industrial facilities (about 35% travel expected).
• Preferred: OT/ICS security certifications (GICSP, CSSA, ICS-CERT), direct experience with the Dragos Platform, and a background in utilities, oil and gas, manufacturing, water or mining.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OT/ICS protocols, network architectures and security monitoring concepts (Purdue model, DMZ design, passive monitoring, asset identification).
• Comfort with lab-based instruction and virtual lab platforms.
• Strong verbal communication, able to explain complex OT security concepts clearly.
