Senior Technician - Audio Visual

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Technician – Audio Visual to lead the AV and Entertainment Technical Services team for its upcoming luxury resort. The role involves overseeing all AV systems to ensure flawless guest experiences across venues.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of AV systems, including sound, lighting, projection, and control networks (DMX, DALI, Art‑Net/sACN).
• Monitor and troubleshoot AV control platforms such as QLab, Crestron, and Navigator CSC.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LED walls, speakers, projectors and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs, wiring diagrams and schematics, and lead performance inspections.
• Supervise AV technicians, coordinate with other departments, and support design reviews for new entertainment projects.
• Enforce safety procedures for rigging, flying systems and ensure compliance with electrical standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of AV technical services experience, preferably in luxury resorts or entertainment venues.
• Industry certifications in AV control systems, rigging safety or projection technology are desirable.
• Fluent English with strong interpersonal and coordination abilities in multicultural environments.
