Senior Technician – Engineering (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

The Senior Technician will join the engineering team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, an exclusive beachside resort on Palm Jumeirah. You will be responsible for maintaining high‑quality standards of all technical systems to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose technical faults and attend breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Execute work orders, planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective actions while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Inspect equipment and facilities, identify root causes of faults and escalate critical technical or safety concerns.
• Support, guide and assess Technicians and General Assistants to ensure accurate and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and optimise the use of materials, equipment and utilities in line with Jumeirah Engineering standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; a technical qualification in Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant technical maintenance experience, preferably within a five‑star hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and general engineering systems.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to guide junior team members.
