Senior Technician - Maintenance

About the role

The Senior Technician – Maintenance is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on elevators, escalators and other vertical transport systems in Dubai, ensuring optimal operation, safety compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on elevators, escalators and other vertical transport systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections, identify faults and wear, and propose improvement solutions.
• Carry out repairs, replacements or modifications to restore equipment to optimal condition.
• Troubleshoot elevators and escalators from major brands such as Kone, Schindler, TKE, Otis and Mitsubishi.
• Manage third‑party inspections, provide assistance and suggest rectifications.
• Maintain accurate service records, including reports with photos, serial numbers, readings and customer signatures.
• Provide preventative maintenance during callback visits to avoid future issues.
• Identify repair or modification opportunities and generate leads for the sales team.
• Be on‑call for service requests during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Support supervisors and engineers to achieve common goals while ensuring compliance with local elevator safety codes and regulations.
