Senior Technician – Room Care (Engineering)

About the role

Jumeirah Saadiyat Island is seeking a Senior Technician to lead room‑care engineering activities. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, ensuring all mechanical and plumbing systems operate flawlessly, and supporting the overall engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to breakdown, planned, and ad‑hoc maintenance requests for guest rooms.
• Report, track, and follow up on all major and minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Identify recurring deficiencies, propose alternative solutions and coordinate implementation with team leaders.
• Secure electrical panels, storage areas and roof access points.
• Request support and direction as needed, adhering to department policies and SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in hotel engineering or general construction engineering.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and conduct root‑cause analysis.
