Senior Techno‑Functional Consultant – Oracle FLEXCUBE

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Techno‑Functional Consultant to lead the implementation and optimisation of Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking solutions for our client in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep functional knowledge of banking products with hands‑on technical expertise to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with business stakeholders and map requirements to FLEXCUBE capabilities across Loans, Deposits, Islamic Financing, FX and CASA.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents, GAP analyses and solution design artefacts, and conduct product demonstrations and user training.
• Design, review and implement FLEXCUBE customisations, extensions and integrations, working closely with development teams on PL/SQL, batch processing and reporting.
• Support UAT activities, coordinate issue resolution and ensure compliance with banking regulations and risk policies.
• Drive data‑migration strategy, reconciliation and cut‑over activities, and provide production support with root‑cause analysis.
• Perform impact assessments for change requests and ensure adherence to Oracle FLEXCUBE best practices.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking modules (CASA, Loans & Deposits, Limits & Collateral, Accounting & GL).
• Strong hands‑on expertise in PL/SQL development, batch processing and report customisation.
• Proficiency in End‑of‑Day (EOD) and Beginning‑of‑Day (BOD) processing, data migration and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and micro‑services architecture.
