Senior Tendering Quantity Surveyor (Building & Civil Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tendering Quantity Surveyor to lead the preparation and submission of competitive tender packages for building and civil construction projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and compliance with client and contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and contract requirements to define scope and pricing.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities and detailed cost estimates.
• Issue subcontract enquiry packages and evaluate technical and commercial quotations.
• Analyse project risks, cost drivers, value‑engineering opportunities and alternative construction methods.
• Support budget preparation, cost planning and maintain estimating databases.
• Coordinate with Technical, Planning, Procurement and Construction teams to develop complete tender submissions.
• Attend tender clarification meetings and provide commercial input.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–10 years of estimating or tender quantity surveying experience in a main‑contracting environment.
• Proven experience on building, infrastructure and complex construction projects, preferably in GCC/UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, drawings and tendering procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CostX.
• Advanced MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit.
• Experience with iTWO (advantage) and Design & Build project environments (advantage).
