Senior UI/UX Designer – Arabic Speaker

About the role

Dicetek LLC is seeking a senior UI/UX designer who is fluent in Arabic and English to lead the design of mobile banking applications for the MENA region. The role focuses on creating intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences for onboarding, payments, and loan services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate as the sole UI Design Lead for a product stream, setting visual direction and design standards.
• Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver designs in Agile sprints.

Required profile

• 10+ years of UI/UX or product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped mobile apps.
• Minimum 5 years designing mobile banking apps, preferably in the MENA market.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including auto‑layout, variants, component libraries, prototyping, and design tokens.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with professional English proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing) and translating insights into design decisions.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, iOS/Android platform guidelines, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of front‑end principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and design‑to‑dev handoff best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
