Senior Vice President – Asset Management (Retail)

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Asset Management (Retail) will lead the implementation of the retail strategy for both owned and third‑party assets, overseeing financial performance and growth initiatives across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Retail Management Strategy across assigned assets and own detailed P&L statements for each asset.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis (IRR, ROI, ROE) on underperforming assets and potential acquisitions to support go/no‑go decisions.
• Manage delivery of assets in the growth pipeline, including new development and transformation projects.
• Analyze market trends to identify emerging investment opportunities and drive growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Property Management to set, track, and monitor monthly operational and financial targets.
• Provide input on rent pricing, leasing strategies, and tenant mix, and co‑define performance and customer satisfaction KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 12+ years of experience managing retail asset properties with annual revenue exceeding AED 1 bn.
• At least 4+ years in a senior managerial position overseeing asset portfolios.
• Strong exposure to the GCC real‑estate market and experience in malls and community retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or economics.
