Senior Vice President Supply Chain

About the role

The Senior Vice President Supply Chain leads the end-to-end supply chain strategy to support efficient, resilient, compliant and commercially effective operations. The role covers procurement, category management, contracts, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, inventory, fleet operations, workshop services and goods movement, and is accountable for supply continuity, cost optimisation, commercial performance, revenue generation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategy, objectives and plans; establish KPIs, budgets and targets; ensure governance compliance and support audits, risk management and succession planning.
• Lead strategic sourcing, category management and supplier relationships; oversee procurement of goods, services, consultancy, concessions and capital projects; develop tenders and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee inventory, warehousing, logistics and materials management, and fleet, workshop and goods movement operations.
• Drive commercial performance and revenue growth through pricing, tariffs and revenue assurance, and monitor costs and budget adherence.
• Lead digital transformation, including ERP, e-sourcing, contract management and analytics systems, and promote automation, data analytics and AI.
• Ensure HSE, legal and regulatory compliance, contractor compliance, ethical procurement and conflict-of-interest controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CSCP or equivalent.
• At least 14 years of experience across supply chain, procurement, logistics and contract management, including 10 years in senior leadership of large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record leading major procurement programs and supply chain transformation, and experience with ERP, e-sourcing and digital supply chain tools.
• Experience in aviation, government, semi-government, infrastructure or facilities management is preferred.
