Senior Windows Image Creation Engineer – L2

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for a Senior Windows Image Creation Engineer (L2) to design, build, test and deploy standardized Windows endpoint images across a large‑scale Modern Workplace environment in the UAE. You will ensure secure, reliable and consistent Windows configurations for enterprise devices while supporting both traditional and cloud‑based provisioning methods.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, maintain and update standardized Windows 11 enterprise images and endpoint configurations.
• Create and maintain OS deployment standards, build processes, configuration baselines and reference configurations.
• Integrate required drivers, security settings, applications, updates, language packs and enterprise policies into images.
• Manage image versioning and ensure alignment with approved enterprise standards.
• Support image refresh, OS upgrades, hardware refresh programs and endpoint modernization initiatives.
• Configure and support device provisioning using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM/MECM and OSD technologies.
• Develop and maintain task sequences, deployment profiles, configuration policies, scripts and automated provisioning workflows.
• Handle driver packages, firmware requirements and hardware compatibility across diverse endpoint models.
• Perform build validation, compatibility testing, pilot deployments and production roll‑outs.
• Troubleshoot endpoint issues, resolve deployment failures and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• At least 84 months (7 years) of hands‑on experience in Windows image engineering and endpoint deployment.
• Strong experience with modern device provisioning tools (Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot) and traditional imaging solutions (SCCM/MECM).
• Proven ability to create and maintain deployment standards, task sequences and automation scripts.
