Service Engineer – Fire & Life Safety

About the role

Our client in the fire protection industry is looking for a Service Engineer – Fire & Life Safety to deliver preventive and corrective maintenance, testing and commissioning of fire alarm, fire fighting, central battery and related life‑safety systems across Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on customer installations to ensure reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fire alarm, fire fighting, central battery (CBS) and PAVA systems.
• Carry out testing and commissioning for new and existing installations.
• Monitor graphic stations for alarms and system alerts, and respond promptly to service requests to meet SLAs.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports and equipment performance logs.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades and coordinate material requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of service and maintenance experience with fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of central battery (CBS) and public address/voice alarm (PAVA) systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) and Microsoft Office.
