Service Engineer

About the role

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of Gradiant’s water and wastewater treatment equipment and plants. Working on‑site and offshore, you will ensure reliable operation of RO systems, STPs, ETPs and related water‑maker solutions for clients in critical industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and call‑out visits under Annual Maintenance Contracts, including inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs.
• Organise site visits, preparing tools, spares and manpower required to complete tasks.
• Install, troubleshoot and commission new water‑treatment systems and plants.
• Calibrate equipment, verify system performance and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection and service reports, including recommendations and parts lists.
• Liaise with customers, sales and technical support to resolve performance issues and communicate repair timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering for design changes and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service or maintenance of water/wastewater treatment equipment.
• Willingness to travel offshore and to moderate‑to‑high‑risk locations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Good communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
