Service Engineer – Samsung Devices

About the role

The Service Engineer will diagnose and repair Samsung mobiles, tablets and wearables in‑warranty and out‑of‑warranty, ensuring first‑time‑right repairs and a professional customer experience. The role is based in Dubai and follows Samsung‑authorized standards and turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Samsung mobiles, tablets and wearables to brand standards, meeting daily productivity targets.
• Deliver first‑time‑right repairs, keeping repeat repairs within 30 days and QC rejections within KPI thresholds.
• Complete same‑day repairs when parts are available and flag at‑risk jobs to the Team Leader.
• Assist walk‑in customers by explaining faults, repair options, costs and timelines in plain language.
• Update the Samsung service system at every job milestone to ensure accurate status and warranty claim acceptance.
• Handle customer devices and data with confidentiality, obtaining consent before any backup or reset.
• Comply with ESD, electrical safety, workshop housekeeping and brand processes, returning defective parts promptly.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience repairing Samsung mobile, tablet and wearable devices.
• Diploma or ITI in Electronics.
• Relevant Samsung technical certifications and successful completion of required training.

Required skills

• Diagnosing and repairing Samsung mobiles, tablets and wearables.
• Using the Samsung brand service system for job tracking and warranty processing.
• Applying ESD and electrical safety procedures in a workshop environment.
