Service Hub Agent

About the role

Join the Paramount Hotel Dubai team as a Service Hub Agent, handling all telephone communications for the property and ensuring guests receive accurate, friendly assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming internal and external calls in a friendly, courteous manner following Paramount Hotel standards.
• Provide accurate information about hotel departments, services, outlets, facilities, operating hours and Dubai attractions.
• Arrange and deliver wake‑up calls punctually.
• Maintain and regularly update the VIP board with guest information.
• Keep an up‑to‑date internal telephone directory and shift logbook, recording guest comments for effective communication.
• Report emergency calls immediately to the appropriate management team and follow fire prevention, health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Switchboard/Telephone Operator in a 5‑star hotel or communication centre in the Middle East.
• Clear, calm, friendly telephone manner with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of Front Office and overall hotel operations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling guest and hotel information.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related applications.
• Competent in operating a hotel switchboard telephone system.
