Service Operator I – Slickline

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Service Operator I to support slickline operations for Halliburton in Abu Dhabi. Working under the Service Supervisor, you will assist throughout the full service cycle – from equipment preparation to wellsite execution and post‑job demobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor in all phases of slickline service delivery.
• Prepare, assemble, test and mobilise slickline equipment and related products before each job.
• Support service performance at the wellsite, including operation of engines, drive‑train and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out post‑job clean‑up, equipment repair, and pressure‑control equipment redress.
• Document processes in accordance with Halliburton Management System (HMS) and adhere to HSE policies.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork orientation and basic literacy in reading, writing and mathematics.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge of slickline tools and WPCE systems.

Required skills

• Slickline equipment preparation and mobilisation.
• Operation and minor maintenance of engines, drive‑train and hydraulic systems.
• Repair of well pressure‑control equipment.
• WPCE (Well Pressure Control Equipment) operation and maintenance.
• Process documentation and compliance with HSE standards.
